Hello everyone!

I have a 2004 S2000 and the check engine light came on. I had the code pulled and its showing P0497 "evap emission low purge flow fault". Any ideas on where to start at trouble shooting this? Also, will it hurt the car to drive it with this going on?

search it, i just read a forum with a whole list of engine codes. Try your gas cap, if its not tight enough then it will throw an engine code. but im not 100% sure thats the code for a loose gas cap

 

not the gas cap . probably evap purge solinoid
