Default Odd trans / clutch / rear diff problem?

ok so sometimes when I stop somewhere it's like the clutch isn't disengaging completely and it'll kinda pull a little even in neutral and in reverse the car acts like it's gonna go dead..... Any ideas on where to start? I've owned Honda's and Acura's my whole life but just bought this one and it's a whole different animal.... Someone point me in a general direction please!

Clutch hydraulics...check fluid level and condition...look under the dash where the clutch pedal connects to the actuator rod...follow that rod to the clutch master cylinder on the firewall...if it's leaking replace the master. If every thing there is good jack the car up and inspect the slave cylinder on the transmission for leakage.

My money is on low fluid due to master cylinder leak.

EDIT: Does it only try to die with the clutch depressed?

Fluid is good, what I don't get is it pulling even in neutral. And why it acts like its gonna die in reverse....

Shifter feels normal? You can select all gears?

and no for the pedal, only when i'm trying to back up, it's like the ebrake is up or the rear diff is in a bind.

Can you roll the car forward and backward easily in neutral with the engine off or at idle?
