Default OE Diff fluid.

What is the specs for the OEM diff fluid? 80W90, right?

And the Mobil 1 syn is 75W90?

90W is what you want. there is a honda 90W, from the marine division.

M1 75W90 is fine to use...but lots of people, like me, like to use a straight 90W, ie; redline, LE 607, etc.

there arent too many 90W's out there.

Btw..
The correct oil is SAE 90, GL-5.

I changed from Amsoil 75-90 gear oil to LE 607 90 wt. This has made a difference in sound and feel from the differential.

I used LE-607 and recently changed to M1 75w90.

There is definitely a change in sound and feel, and I think I will go back to a straight 90 weight next time, be it LE607 or something else.
