Default OEM Alarm system shock sensor

I've just installed the OEM honda alarm system in the car and it looks like the shock sensor (microphone type) is not sensitive enough, I'll go off if I literaly shake the seat, but it doesn't go off if I hit the window or anything...I've adjusted it to the maximum setting too, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Does anyone else have the same problem? How did you go about it?

any opinions? I heard that you can connect aftermarket sensors to the OEM alarm.....I was thinking about doing that too, anyone has firsthand experience with that?

Its not a Shock sensor. Its a GLASS breakage sensor designed to sense the unique sounds of glass cracking/breaking.

IMO totally worthless on a freaking convertible. How about a cloth tearing sensor?

in order to connect an aftermarket sensor you would need to wire the sensor to send a (-) trigger to the door pin input wire of the alarm wire. That would do the trick

It's also got a sensitivity adjustment on the unit under the seat, IF the car has dealer installed security.

Any luck, did you try a glass break simulator speaker? I used to have one since I worked in alarms on houses. It makes a distinct noice, but to be honest, I dont think glass makes that loud of a noise when broken, especially if there si tint on the windows, the tint spider webs em and makes less sound. TURN THAT SENSITIVITY UP!!
