I dont think so.. I've swapped out a lot of S2k's exhausts and have never noticed the cat being different.

I have an 05's cat at my house right now, along with my 00, and they are identical. I know in 06+ (DBW) the exhaust system itself is different - but im not 100% sure about the cat. I'd bet money that its compatible.

 

i believe 00 - 05 are the same

06+ is different (i think it might have something to do w/ the fact that the 06+ doesn't have an air pump)
