OEM Clutch Engagement

OEM Clutch Engagement
Just got my car back from getting the clutch done. (clutch is OEM, got a new flywheel and throwout bearing as well. It's a MY01) Car drives great, but the engagement point seems off from what it should be. The shop I got it done at is reputable, I've had work done there before. The guys told me to check out the clutch engagement point, if it needs any adjusting to bring it back and they'll get it in and out.
After driving it home last night the clutch seems "poppy" to where the engagment is much higher off the floor. I had a bit of trouble getting off the clutch on inclines/hills on the way home.
If I remember correctly, my previous OEM clutch engagment was much closer to the floor. Please tell me I'm not crazy.... is the OEM engagment supposed to be closer to the floor?
*alright, after driving it for a couple days seems like the engagment point is okay. I guess not driving this car for a while really threw me off.

You want the engagement as high as possible, so your shifts are quick and smooth.
On the floor is typically the symptom of a bad clutch

After a bit of searching I finally came across a thread where someone mentioned if your clutch engagment is high (closer to your foot, not the floor) the clutch can slip more, or not engage fully and cause premature wear.
This link, is it for adjusting the pedal, or the clutch engagment point?:
