OEM SHocks
Hi guys
Does anyone have any information on the part numbers for the OEM dampers and wether those part numbers changed over the lifecycle of the car?
I'm interested to see if along with the mild suspension tweeks over the years, wether the dampers have been adjusted to suit.
Update
I've just recieved the following part number details for a front o/s damper
2000 MY - 51601S2AA05
2002 MY - 51601S2AA06
2004 MY - 51601S2AA08
Can anyone confirm any valving changes on the units themselves as a change in part number could be a simple as a new washer
Thanks

I would say the valving definitely changed. The spring rates are so different from the beginning to the end of the cars run, I can't imagine Honda wouldn't adjust the dampers too. Everything else on the car is basically maximized, so this just doesn't seem like something they would let go. Buuut, I have zero info to back this claim up.
