Thumbs up Oil

I did a bunch of searches but my computer is soooooo slow and it didn't really turn up with anything. I am wondering if me running 5w-30 full synthetic is bad? because I bought 6 litres of it and brought it to my honda dealer to have it put in and they cautioned that it was not what the users manual said. ... I am kind of scared now because I told them to put it in.

Judging from the Canadian flag, you live where it will steadily get colder now. 5W30 will be fine. I'd still suggest you go with 10W30 in the summer.

well, I actually live in Victoria, it is getting colder but I don't think it will not get much colder. Since I got the 5w-30 oil put in my car, it feels quite a bit smoother. My concern is will the lighter oil make my seals leak or will anthing along those lines occur?

Your car may consume more oil than 10w30, if you need to top off down the road you may like to use 15w50 full synthetic (same brand) to thicken the oil a little.

It feels smoother because there is a bit less pumping resistance and a bit less fluid resistance in a thinner oil. If you engine doesn't leak now, it won't leak with 5W30. If it leaked before, it will perhaps leak a bit more now.
I've routinely switched to 5W30 Mobil 1 for winter duty.
