This is good to know. Which ones have you tried? What happened?
I've not tried. Honda clearly states it's for short term use only.

It's not the right formula for the type of gearing. Tranny will get sticky overtime and there could be damages caused. So I've read.

I stick to the manual and follow it.

or

Amsoil also has Severe Gear SAE 75W-110 GL-5 gear oil.
A direct replacement for the original 1999 SAE 90 GL-5.

I stick to the manual and follow it.
One doesn't always get the best that's available following a 10 year old manual
R&D didn't stop in 1999 you know.......

I have the same exact noise as video #3 its like a buzz when you let off the clutch in neutral. I believe its an input shaft bearing problem.

In neutral & no clutch pressed the input shaft AND 1st & 2nd gear sets are spinning.
Also the (needle) bearings in gear 3-6 are spinning.

Don't forget you're sitting right next to all this mechanical noise.
Maybe ask in a local sub forum if someone would listen to your gearbox before taking it apart to change parts?

In the parts drawing # 17 and # 18 are the main shaft bearings.
