Default Oil Bolts

Hello everyone,

Fairly new to the board, I recently purchased a 02 S2000, I have read a lot about these oil bolts and trying to figure out if these blots were updated on production O2's if so is it after a certain production date or vin #.

Also I have heard of people running Iridium plugs. Is there an advantage to these plugs and is so when stock or with modifications.

Thanks !

Waterhound7-
This is the info I could come up with. Look at your engine serial number. If it is after #1025386 then it has the new bolts.
I hope this helps,
Glen

Some folks swear by these things. Others who have tried them, say they observed no advantage. They do NOT work well with the supercharged cars.

Hood open, stand looking into engine bay from the front of the car. The plate is located near the front of the engine just to the right of the valve cover, behind the belt tensioner pulley.
