You need to get the Code before any further diagnosis, Your dealer can pull it, Autozone can pull it, just don't expect any troubleshooting there.

As far as your catch can install goes, I only see 1 line hooked to the breather fitting on the valve cover. The front breather is for fresh air inlet with a PCV valve. You will not collect any oil with your catch can plumbed this way. The can needs to be between the PCV valve and the intake manifold to work.

For some reason there seems to be a bit of a debate on how to plumb a catch can. Some insist on Y'ing the PCV line and front breather line into the can, which is nothing more than a remote breather. I think the crappy install instuctions from the JDM cans are to blame,

Attaching a catch can to the front of the valve cover is a waste of a catch can. The air flows IN at that point, so no oil will flow OUT at that point. The catch can should be connected between the PCV and intake manifold.

On a side note, I filled my catch can 1/2 way in 20 minutes yesterday at Motor Sport Ranch. I checked and refilled my oil, then didn't see another drop in the catch can for the remainder of the day (~60 minutes).

BTW, even though your catch can isn't installed properly, I don't see any reason why it would be throwing a code.

Cusco says to hook only the PVC valve to the Catch can and plug off the intake. That is how I'm running it.
