No, I want to have a catch can, with one line to the breather, one like to the pcv, and no line to the intake at all. I would put a filter on top of the oil catch can to relieve pressure.
Thoughts?

I haven't ever experienced any problems under high throttle. The only smoke screens I've ever heard of come from closed throttle, high RPM, high vacuum, right handed turns.
Also, if you are using a divided catch can, then it is functionally TWO catch cans, right?

Oh yah, I forgot that about the above scenario. I was only getting smoke out of the tailpipe from oil coming out of the fresh air vent after hard braking. That was the part of the turn that I missed.
I think that oil is coming out of the fresh air vent. normally oil doesn't splash into it, but I suspect that under hard braking, the valve cover is full of oil and it splashes out the vent.

Well, if you guys actually have evidence of oil coming out the front of the valve cover, then there isn't much to argue about. However, I don't see how it could be occurring under braking. Under braking, there will be lots of manifold vacuum pulling air IN through the front of the valve cover, and OUT through the PCV valve. It seems that the only way oil could be exiting the engine through the front hose would be during WOT, but I've never experienced it.
