Default Oil change after 5 months of storage.

Should I start the car and have it warm up and then follow up with an oil change, or should I go straight ahead and do a oil change on the cold car and then start it?

I'd let it warm up to get the deposits suspended in the oil so they drain out easier.

Start it up and run it for like 2 or 3 minutes and then do a oil change as usual. You can also pour some oil through to get some of the oil oil out that sits below the drain bolt in the oil pan.

Did you change the oil before you stored it?
