you should use the PCX Honda OEM oil filter....get from dealer or order online at hardtopguy or whereever.

2 jack stands minimum, but i'd get 4 jack stands and just lift the entire car......less drama cause you don't have to lower the car and raise again to drain the oil.....
yes, i just checked it's some serial numbers then pcx and a few more serial numbers.

hehe funny you should mention using 4 jack stands because I just changed my oil today and all I needed was just 1 stand for the driver side.....oil falls out quicker/more when tilted I suppose.....

beware if the dealer throws you a PLM Honda filter instead of the PCX filter.

If it's Mobil "drive clean" 10W30, you're good to go. If it's Mobil 1, then you've got the synthetic stuff.

Glad to see you didn't take the advice about picking up the air filter. You have a relatively new car and with only 3K on it, the air filter should be fine. Most people check the filter annually or every 15K miles or so and then decide if a new one is needed. The OEM air filter is not so cheap that you can just replace it at every oil change. I'm glad you have the common sense to weed out the garbage advice when you see it.

if you can retighten your oil drain bolt and get it close to the proper torque specs (32 lb-ft per the manual, i think), then you don't need a torque wrench. otherwise, i'd recommend one, since it takes the guesswork out and especially since you are a first-timer at this.

plus a torque wrench is just handy to have for other tasks, like retightening the lugs on your wheels. good luck!
