Default Oil Changed after Hibernation

MY2000 S is coming out of winter hibernation in a couple of weeks. I had oil changed done at 7250 mi. before I garaged it at the end of November 2002. I drove it for two miles in the winter to warm it up. Do you think I would need oil changed after 3 months + of hibernation and driven a couple of miles before I fully drive it in Spring? Need advise.

No. Enjoy!
Next time, however, when you do your periodic warm ups, do go for a longer spin to get it nice and hot, that way you get rid of all the possible condensation in the crankcase, exhaust, etc.

I changed my oil before I parked mine for the winter and I am not planning on changing it.

I will be going away for 3.5 months and am considering having a friend (who also has an s2000) to come every week to drive it. What do you guys think? Or should I just put it on blocks, change the oil, and let it sit? RobsS2K, it sounds like you should be fine.

Thanks for the advice. I just can't wait to drive the S. As I mentioned, I did oil change before the storage. I try to start the once a month and at one time, I drove it for 2.4 miles (just around the neighborhood due to no insurance). I was just confused about the 3 months or 3000 mi oil change rule.
