Default Oil filter change interval?

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked already but I did search this up but I didn't come across a exact answer. I want to know how often I should be changing the oil filter, and the only answer I was able to find was every 12.5k miles. Is this good, or would anyone recommend a different interval between miles? Also, do you guys just recommend the Honda OEM filter? If so, can it be bought at a dealership? All answers are appreciated. Thanks!

OEM PCX filter is the way to go. Can be picked up from a dealership.

I always change my filters with the oil. Just for peace of mind.

For my '06 Honda says every other oil change and that is what I do(around 15k to 16k miles for my S). If your oil filter loads up with stuff to where it won't flow enough oil, you have bigger problems to fix. I use a over size filter on my S, over twice as large as the stock S filter.

It's also really easy to change and it doesn't drip onto the car.

Fluids & filters are cheap......engines are not.My OCI's are usually 4-5k miles.
