Default Oil Galley Plug Locations?

Quick question for anyone who knows, is this plug on the front of the engine an oil galley location I could use to tap for an oil temp or pressure gauge? It seems like it is the correct size and in a location that would be excellent to tap, and they usually have hex head tops as well. I know you can tap the stock pressure location above the oil filter but I would like to know if there are any other spots as well such as the one I am questioning. And if that's not what this is, does anyone know of any other spots to tap into the engine for temp or pressure? (I do not use sandwich adapters so please do not recommend this as an option) Thanks in advance for your help guys.
