It's just Honda's synthetic blend (obviously). It's fine, I would probably use a full synthetic but it certainly is ok to use. More important is keeping the oil fresh/changed and topped off in between.

Its Honda oil...so...I'm sure its fine.

For the price, I'd rather pick any 0W40, 0W30, 10W30, or 10W40 or 5W30 or 5W40 synthetic from anywhere that carries it.

Its just oil.

I'll see how this one, I'll try full synthetic if this one doesn't work out too well

Wondering what qualifies as not working out? If there is an issue with the oil, how would you ever know?

Even if you chose a completely inappropriate grade of motor oil, your engine would run fine for many tens of thousands of miles. Issues would only show up as a significantly shortened engine life span. But even then it would be difficult to know how much of any premature damage was caused by abuse or by running a little low on oil then driving it hard.

Its way more important that it has enough oil (and not too much oil) than what the oil is.

Its what came in the S2000 off the showroom. Its factory Honda oil. Its fine, but I also prefer a full syn over semi.

Bullshit. It is more likely "Honda" branded Mobil semi synthetic or something similar that Honda Parts North America has bottled and sells. No way that stuff comes from Japan. That said, there's really nothing wrong with it and is perfectly fine.

The standard for anything called "synthetic" oil in the US is so low, that an oil called semi-synthetic is likely nothing more than a group 2 oil. So likely very little real synthetic included in that oil, just a highly refined conventional oil. You can get a good group 4 synthetic oil for likely the same price. There is nothing wrong with that oil, and using it will serve just fine, but it is likely over-priced for what you get if you think there is any synthetic oil in that bottle.
