Default oil hhhm?

so recently I changed from castrol syntec full synthetic to mobile one full synthetic. I have driven about 750Km and I checked my oil today for the first time and found oil had some how gotten all over the dip stick from about an inch down from the black handle all the way to the bottom I have never had this happen before. I was wondering why this occured. I also seem to be hearing the chain tensioner again, i just changed it about 8000KM ago, is this odd?

thanks

hard to understand what you're saying.

do you mean oil is all over your dipstick? had you been driving?

what I ment was, normally when I check the oil there is only oil on he end of the dip stick where the low and high measurements are. but this time there was oil all the way up the shaft.

and again, had you just turned the motor off or was the motor still running? the motor needs to be off, on level ground, and sitting for at least 3 minutes before checking the oil level.
