Default Exhaust Clicking Problem

So about 4 months ago i went to a local muffler shop and removed my resonator from my 01 s2k. SOUNDED GREAT and it still does....my problem is that since then my car has been making a clicking sound...the same sound u hear after a car has been turned off and is starting to cool. Though it is normal to have the clicking happen after u turn off the car....mine has become much louder and excessive. At times i can hear it clicking while idling the car. Any ideas on what i can do??

Take it back to the shop and have them check it.

I'd take it back to the exhaust shop as well.

On another note, do you have any sound clips of a resonator-less exhaust?

you prolly overrevved your car trying to hear your new resonatorless exhaust and those are your bent valves ticking. haha.

Its the pipe they welded in cooling at a different rate than your stock catback exhaust. Its possible they used mild steel instead of stainless steel. Overall, not a huge deal and I wouldn't really worry about it.
