Question Oil leak

My 2005 AP2 recently started leaking oil, and I can't find the source. It drips close under the oil filter. From the top, it gets on the cross-frame. I can't feel or see oil below the filter where it would run if it were the filter or cooler plate. Under the car, it, of course, gets on things rear of there. I am taking it to a repair shop to help pinpoint the leak, but if anyone has any ideas, it might help in locating. Also, dry under the crankshaft balance. It seems that if it was the oil pan, it would not get on the cross member because that is in front of the pan. Baffled. Thanks!

Tct? Vtec solenoid? Some common areas of leak on that side of the engine.

This. Look higher than where you've been looking. Leaks flow downhill.

Timing chain cover is cracked. Mea culpa. I damaged it when changing the idler pulley. Expensive repair.

So it's leaking from the TCT and not the valve cover gasket?
