oil leak from behind the block?

Default oil leak from behind the block?

how is that possible? i only ask cause that's what's happening

it could definitley be the rear main seal. also check to see if its running down from the head, possibly the valve cover gasket, or if you recently topped off your oil, if you spill any around the fill point, it will run all the way down there(happened to me).

lol ok it was a rookie mistake on my part. i put my motor together for the first time and didn't know about the rear main seal.... oppps i payed the price by removing the tranny. thanx for the help guys!
