Default Oil leak from the rear ?

I was pulling my car out of my garage , when I noticed about four drops of oil . It looked almost like engine oil and it was on the left side of the pumpkin . Has anyone experienced something like this or could tell me where it's coming from ?

I had oil leaking from the driver side output shaft of the diff at one point and had to tightened the carrier bearing preload to get rid of the play and replace the seal.

I just noticed where it was leaking form , the left mount behind the diffrential that has four bolts . There also is a right mount with four bolts and the oil is like a reddish brown color.

8 bolts total (4 left & 4 right)? Don't know where those mounts are. I thought there was only 4 bolts mounting the rear of the diff, total. I'll have to take a look at mine later today.
Besides, is the oil leaking from the "mount" or just dripping from there? You sure your not talking about the front of the diff?

Your differential mounts have a fluid filled rubber part that is leaking. They are mounted in the steel crossmember and contain the bolts from the rear brace

In this photo the bolts on the lower brace are facing the camera and would mount in the rubber mounts that are suspect.

Edited to add the photos of these little buggers that leak oil. Note: They are not interchangable, they are marked R & L

Sideways has you pointed in the right direction. This is the thread I started some months ago, when I had exactly the same problem.

Could somebody snap a picture of the parts assembled on the car, and point to the components and where the leak is coming from? Would be greatly appreciated.

If you lay on the ground at the back of the car and look towards the front this is the view:

Above the exhaust pipe on the left, the differential mount is held in place with the red topped bolts. The circular rubber part (lower half visable) is the culprit that leaks the red fluid. The left mount takes the brunt of the force and is built stronger than the right. It has been the one that tends to leak first. The right mount is just visable (one bolt only) in the upper right.

The black steel going across is the rear part of the rear subframe.
