Thumbs up Oil Leak from VTEC Solenoid...

Hi All,

I apparently have an oil leak that seems to be coming from one of the bolts located on top of the vtec solenoid. To be precise there are 3 bolts that are mounted on top of the vtec solenoid and it is the 1 pointed outward in the same direction as the vtec pressure switch. After unscrewing all 3 bolts and removing the top cover of the vtec solenoid there is a rubber gasket, I went to the dealership assuming that I would be able to order it but the only gasket available is the one with the filter . If any knows where I can order the gasket as shown in the diagram below or what I could possibly do to stop the oil leak please chime in.

TIA,
Tony

I had the same exact problem and ended up ordering the gasket with filter from the Honda dealership. I couldn't find just the gasket either.

This one?

The one that I need is the "upper" gasket like the one shown in the 1st pic and not the one w/ the filter that goes between the vtec solenoid and the block, and from what it looks like I wasn't able to find the part number for it
