Default Oil Stabilizer

Has any one had success with Lucas oil stabilizer regarding solving dry starts/engine noise? I use Mobil 1 10w30 in my engine at 10500 miles. Any other products that may help?

You have 10,500 miles on your engine? I'd used the Mobil One and forget about oil additives.

Why do you think you are getting insufficient oil pressure, at the start?

Additives do not fix things. At very best they may be a temporary band aid. What are the symptoms you are seeing? AKA what type of engine noise?

If engine has a long time sitting maybe just pull a fuse and spin engine up to coat bores ect.

Consider an Accusump by Canton Industries.
And for the love of the gods of horsepower, put in a clutch interlock bypass. Its easy and will potentially save your engine from potential catastrophic failure after many, many dry start cycles.

personally, after the car is stored over winter, I remove the fuel pump fuse, and turn the engine over WITHOUT pressing the clutch in- until the oil light goes out.

I think it is the TCT. Ordered a Billman TCT.

Just curious: 19 years as a daily driver and less than 10,500 miles?

Darn decimal point! I suspected something like a typo.

Follow Bill's instructions to the letter. 10 minute job using the provided bolts (NOT the OEM). Press it in, don't draw it in with the bolts. Only "scary" part it pulling the pin out the little hole in the front of the block -- get a good grip on it.
