OLD Comptech SC??

I just got a used SC installed today. Everything is fine, but the engine check light seems to be on. Should I really worry about this or let it be?

Probably an incorrectly installed vacuum hose. I doubt anything catastrophic would be picked up by the ECU before you'd know about.

BTW, just finished my second hand Comptech SC install myself. Whose did you buy? And what did you pay?

actually we got our through a friend for free.. he hook us up but the install cost so much $600! for labor

$600 for install sounds pretty cheap!

You should have the code pulled for the CEL. Any Autozone will pull the code for free.

There is a one-way check valve in one of the vacuum hoses that you installed. Make sure it is pointing the correct way.
