Default Orange VS Clear Side Markers

I have a black S2000 AP2. I am on the fence on switching out the orange side markers for the clear. I kinda like the orange on the black. Does anyone else like the orange more than the clear?

I like my ap1 Suzuka Blue with the orange markers. The blue and orange are complimentary colors and helps break up the car.

OEM orange is fine on my Rio Yellow Pearl. It is such a minor tweak to go to clear IMO. Not worth the effort.
Now a JDM convex drivers mirror is another thing!

I have a 2005 Suzuka Blue and I went with the clear. I think it cleans up the side silhouette. It looks less busy to me. I prefer it.

This is one of those "grass is greener on the other side" things. When you have oem orange lenses you prefer the clear, after having the clear for a while you start to miss the orange, lol. Best upgrade is a nice LED bulb with either lens you run. I had the clear lights with an amber LED bulb, much brighter and the quicker/sharper activation was really nice.

I have amber on one, clear on the other. Indecisive.

You could put amber on one side and clear on the other?

My original orange ones had broken tabs, so needed replacement. I found the clear ones easier to find and were cheaper. My car is Silverstone, so it was a no brainer to go with clear. I like the look, but its honestly not that big a change.

I found a bag of yellow led bulbs on amazon for a couple of bucks. So basically its a lifetime supply...

Now, on to a controversy. Which way should the lens point? They seemed to only want to go in one way, the notches in fender were asymetrical, and it only seemed to want to fit one way. But at a recent meet, paying attention I noticed an equal number of cars with them installed the way mine are, as with the opposite of the way mine are. Which is correct?

Mine are installed so the 'ramp', the angled edge, is pointing forward. As if its meant to look aero with the wedge end facing the wind. Not sure which is correct now since seen them both ways.
