Default Over Heating Problem

Hey guys!
I could really use some help. I just completed a used engine swap on my 100K F20c1. The problem is that it seems to be overheating. But the Temp says 3 bars. The intake (aftermaket) is so extermly hot. I don't remember it every being that hot. But, i could be wrong. So, after a 100 mile test on the new engine, the engine's computer seem to flip on a limiter. I couldn't bring the car above 3K. I just let my engine cool and the problem went away.

Does any one know of a computer limiter like this?

I am not sure why it would happen like this. Any help/advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

That's weird. The obvious thing to do is check the coolant. When you first fill it up and start the car it takes some liquid into the block so you might want to to check that. Or maybe the coolant is not flowing.

That's what I can think of.

Limit at 3k? I think theres something more serious to that. Double check your wires?
