Default Overheating problem

I replaced my stock radiator with an ARC aluminum radiator with a Mishimoto fan shroud today. I checked all my connections and everything checks out fine. As i started driving the car it started overheating after 15 min of driving. I drove back home popped the hood and my engine bay was splashed all over with coolant. Has any one had this problem in the past?

Did you properly bleed it after filling it with coolant? Where is the coolant coming from?

it seems to be a very common issue lately as people change their rads. Improper bleeding procedures and faulty rad caps are the two most common issues.

Here's the sequence:

1. Don't bleed the system.
2. Car overheats.
3. Temps rise, cause mad pressure.
4. Antifreeze steam pops a hose off, or rips it, or whatnot, or antifreeze shoots from under the cap.
5. That antifreeze is all over the hot engine bay, now you got to clean it up, and it's not easy.

ONLY?

1)Bleed the system, there's TWO bleeder valve on this car

2)check the fan operation

3)check for leaks, pressure test if needed

assuming you already have a cap with proper pressure rating, good running hose and connector, etc
