Default P0118

This morning I woke up it was -7 windchill. About 9 degrees without. I sat in my car to start it (which is parked outside) I hit the engine start button and all it did was crank, For about 2-3 min. At this point im freaking out thinking there is something seriously wrong.
I start tapping the gas like an old carb motor and it starts firing randomly. Finally it fires up but it idles at 1k rpm? The check engine light never went off either.
As it was idling at 1k I tapped the gas to get the rpms to normal cold idle which is 2k, as soon as I touch the gas it stalls. Takes another 10-15 seconds of cranking before it starts back up. I just let it idle at 1k rpms and go back inside.
I come out about 20 min later and its warmed up with 2 bars and idling at 1500 so I think everything is normal but just with a check engine light. Im driving with 2 bars and when I come up to a redlight or stop sign the engine jumps in Rpms. to about 2300 and then does the idle surge where it bounces from 1500 to 2500.
With 3 bars its idleing at a constant 2k. I know its just a sensor but im at work and its going to bug me all day until I figure out what it is. Would it cause the car not to start also?

Update: I got the diagnosis and its P0118, which is Coolant temp sensor voltage or something like that haha

Clean the IAC valve, then the throttle body.

Clear the CEL afterwards, if there's a real problem it'll come back.
