Can someone explain what the pictures above mean. what are you suppose to do?
well, you see they are considered man's best friend for their loyalty. What you use them for or what you train them to do ultimately decides what they mean and what you're supposed to do with them. Personally I would raise it as a friend of mine as well as a security system for the house.
for the other diagram, it's the components of the air pump system so you can see the air plumbing and all the components in play.
funny, but nonetheless i still have that pesky CEL. i did see a small problem (tho might not really matter) is the large hose connected to the air pump. the hose was connected all the way, but the clamp did not go all the way around the actual pump connection. could that have been my issue?
also, that check valve, does it have to be replaced at a certain interval? i have almost 140,000 miles and im assuming that piece was never replaced. and instead of it being a "white" check valve, it is now more of a brown/tan check valve lol.
Yes I know it’s an old thread but just wanted to share (note: when I took the pic I was standing at the front driver tire leaning over the engine bay so looking left in the pic is the front if the motor)....So I took my air box and intake tube off to do some light detailing/cleaning. When I wiggled the intake tube off I inadvertently pulled this hose off. Since it layed right beside where it came off I didn’t notice it. Next day got the CEL. Got home from work and gave it another look. That’s when I found the disconnected hose. Again just wanted to share and hope it saves someone some grief.
thank you so much for this, same thing happened to me when I replaced the valve cover!

Thank you for posting the pic! I replaced my intake tube because it was cracking. Somehow managed to disconnect the same hose. Checked everything multiple times but never thought to look there.
