Cracked retainers show no symptoms at all.

he said he did drop gear when the car started to decrease its speed but noticed it wouldnt accelerate or pick up any speed
over rev is when your going like 70 in 6th gear and you drop it to 2nd and
the rpms hit the rev max and the car slows down,

then the valves and stuff get messed up, sounds like over rev to the max and he just doesnt know what it is

park and get honda to look at it D:

ps. feed back!!! i wana know what happened (:

yeah i know what over revving is but he was going 70 mph then thats when the car started to lose speed so he dropped it into 5th but still didnt get a response so he pulled over and tried to see whats wrong thats when i got the call and then it was towed to the final destination where it sits as of right now.

i will update you guys on what happens have to do a compression test 1st and get the cell codes before all this.

Sounds like you have a lot of trust in him... but from what you are describing it sounds like an over rev, he probably went WOT in 4th and shifted in to 3rd.

he was going 70-75 mph and the started to lose speed so he down shift to 5th and still nothing so he pulled the car over and it stalled out on him. 5-8 minutes later he started the car up again and it started up fine but this is when he couldnt go faster then 25mph. so no over rev what so ever.
