P0500 after cage install, I think I found the unplugged connector
Just got the car back from getting caged, and noticed the speedo and odometer aren't working. Car throws a P0500. I found an unplugged blue connector, but have no idea where it goes. Tried googling wiring diagrams but nothing for the VSS wiring.

You sure that's not the airbag service plug under dash,or maybe that's yellow.
sounds like an earth maybe near ecu,<they would have worked in that area I guess> as the earth on the back of head would stop clocks working.
picture would help.

blue connector was for the radio, but did find a pinout diagram for the cluster and traced that back across the dash into the engine bay. I checked the multimeter readings on the sensor itself and there's three wire: blue/white,blue/yellow,brown/yellow. There's power on the blue/white and blue/yellow, but I can't find where the the brown/yellow wire runs.
I can post pics, but this thing is a mess.
Edit: Just found this on s2ki...helpful but not sure where to start: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/uploads/g...7381_16222.png
I might just replace the sensor for the hell of it, but it seems most probable that this is a wiring issue because the cage guy had to practically pull the interior wiring in spots to weld the cage in.
