p1259 code
I have a 2004 s2000. I just finished a full engine rebuild my current set up is a follows: 12.5:1 compression pistons bored and sleeved 3mm over; duel valve spring with titanium retainers; stage 3 Brain Crowler cams; Inline Pro connecting rods; and a hondata k-pro stand alone ECU.
The car has not been tuned yet that is going to happen as soon as i can get this light turned off. I know the code state "rocker arm oil pressure switch". Now i know the code typically stands for a VTEC malfunction. The original sensor was broken when the engine was removed for the build so the current sensor is brand new. Other then a faulty sensor from factory can anyone give me an idea of where to start to fix this problem.
Thanks in advance

Have you VTEC'd yet? Or did the CEL basically come on while you were idling? If you haven't VTEC'd, then the problem is electrical. Either something in the wiring or the ground for the switch.
If the CEL came on after you VTEC'd, then you need to check the oil pressure. Possibly your oil pump is no good or clogged during the rebuild.

I had it come on after a turbo build. The oil was out of the car for a while, so the light went on. It went out after a couple of resets, and idling. It will eventuall be ok. It had to do with that pressure switch on the VTEC solenoid.
