im having the same issue and seem to cant resolve it. I took out the radio and checked all the wires. The radio wasnt recently installed and has been on the car for 1 year plus. But my fuse keeps blowing. Could any short mess up that fuse or a aftermarket radio exposed wire.

Anyone else also having this problem? I have unplugged the illumination wire from the radio but it still blows the fuse. It doesn't blow the fuse right away sometimes blows after driving it for a little.

Same here, my MY01 came with an aftermarket Alpine head unit. It would look nice if my car had the parking lights on at night

Although tedious shorts are very easy to diagnose.

Pull all light associated with that fuse. Tail lights parking lights etc. If you have a radio just unplug it. (if having issues with key-less entry leave that fuse out. If you have an after market alarm at this point you may want to leave it unplugged)

Replace fuse. If fuse still pops its a wire or socket that is shorting. Check all sockets and or wires leading to it to make sure nothing is exposed or binding

turn on parking lights.

If no fuse pops after radio and all other equipment is unplugged, and all lights are pulled. Start to plug in bulbs and components one by one. When you plug something in and it knocks out the lights (pops fuse) you will know what it causing the short.

good luck
