Default Passenger Window Problem

I took my door panel off to install some speakers I had laying around and I spilled some water I was drinking on the door panel right on the window switch . So I quickly dry it and get some compressed air to get all the water out.

The problem: When I reinstalled the panel, I go to test my window and it will go down, but it wont go up. You can hear the relay click and motor work fine when you press it down. But it makes no sound or nothing when it goes back up.

The solution: I quickly came on the forums and posted in WTB about getting both the driver and passenger controls (just in case). I found someone that is selling them to me and they will be payed for and shipped out tomorrow.

Ongoing issue: It is forcasted to rain tomorrow in my area and my window is rolled about half way down... Do you guys think it will be a problem if I manually grab the window and lift it up? (Or will I break something).... Or should I just get some garbage bags and tape and hold off on touching till my switch gets here? If you have a better solution please let me know.

i believe if you just grab a battery pack to the wires it should move the window up or down...

Which wire would I put it to? There are 5 wires in total.

You can say that again.

Do a search. The answer is in some old threads around here somewhere.

lol..dont manually pull it up..i doubt you could do it anyway.. disconnect the connector from the window regulator, get a thick enough wire from a battery and connect the wires to the connector, if it goes down, switch the wires. it will go up , simple as that.
