Default Passenger window stuck down

OK, so when I pulled into my apartment today and went to put up my windows the passenger side failed to go up. I checked the fuses for both windows and they were fine. I even switched them around to make sure it wasn't just me missing something. I'll probably take it into Honda tomorrow but just thought I'd ask around here to see if anyone knew of anything else to check on.

Is the switch on the drivers side that kills the passenger side window switch turned off?

Hahahahahaha...oh man do I feel like an idiot now.

I'm not really sure when I hit it but that's exactly what it was. I guess it's better that I figured it out tonight rather than taking into Honda and have them tell me what an idiot I was.

Thanks for saving me certain humilation Gregg.

I had the same problem.

Off to the manual I go, tracing wires, all the way to "main switch"

Don't feel too bad

I did the same thing.

i pulled the panel off and removed the motor and raised the window BY HAND.

THEN I discovered the switch.

I've done it, too.

I went so far as to take the door liner off and power the window up with DC directly on the motor wires. Still couldn't figure out what was wrong.

Felt stupid when xviper had to point out the obvious.

I had same issue 3 weeks ago we had a torrential downpour. Called the service at honda frantically. Parked my car on the side of the road. Couldnt get thru because it was past business hours. tried to call anyone i knew and race shops. then i looked down and saw the switch.

I laughed at myself to sleep that night.

I've had my car for 2 whole weeks and was out of town for the weekend and did the same thing. I was freaked about leaving the car sitting in the hotel parking lot all night with the window down. Finally found the answer in the manual, on the plus side my wife got to laugh at me about it.

Definitely don't feel bad about getting caught with this one. In my opinion, Honda was STUPID to kill the driver's side switch when you disable the passenger window. It's totally illogical. I can't think of a scenario where I would want this feature.

PS - it's the same on my wife's Accord. She'll sometimes turn the switch off to keep the dog from standing on the switches and making the windows go down, but then she (the dog) stands on the lockout switch and turns it back on.
