Default Piston rings

My car uses about 1liter (almost 1qt) every 1500km (about 1000miles)

Can I reduce the amount of oil usage by changing my piston rings with new ones?

We don't have the AP2 here in Europe

You have to see what's causing the oil burning.

I have seen customers burn Mobil1. In some cases, the burning stopped by 80% by switching to castrol synthetic.

to answer, yes. New rings would surely help if not eliminate the oil burning. IF thats the problem. It is likely...all depends on how the rings were seated.
