i think the shop that installed my clutch may have forgotten to put back a vacuum hose. i got a P0411, and after reviewing the AEM installation guide, i realized that the "lower vacuum hose" was missing. i put one back on, but i'm not completely sure if it's correct.
i've circled the area i'm not sure about.
also, when i took my car back to the shop after i got the CEL, they put this T-line in. i just realized this, and i don't know if this is necessary. it didn't fix the CEL, because it came on again.
You should remove that "T" that your shop installed. Verify that the "upper" vacuum hose goes to the manifold and that the "lower" one goes to the secondary air valve. Also, make sure the vacumm lines at the bypass control valve (3rd pic) are not reversed. I hope this helps.
wow, ok, billman & fatjoe thanks a lot! the pictures definitely help. i thought the T was BS, and the lower vacuum hose was missing. i'll go ahead and take T out then. thanks again guys!
I had my engine replaced and continued to get the 0411 code. using your diagram I was able to correct the routing of the upper and lower hose connections. thanks.

Mine is not correct either and my car won’t go pass 6,000rpm it’s like it it looses full/hits a brick wall. Did you have similar issues?

Thanks for posting this image. I'm almost done reinstalling my engine on my AP1 and I couldn't figure out where one of these damn vacuum hoses went to, well one of the tubes on that plastic box was broken and I couldn't for the life of me find another tube where a hose would go to. I think the only thing I need to do now is add coolant and make sure no air gets in the system and I can fire her up. I work tomorrow, so I'll have to wait till Friday.
