Default Please help rpms gone crazy!

Ok I'll try to explain this problem the best I can. I went home about two weeks ago to see my parents in PA. I bought gas at a station I usually don't go to, Sunaco and got some 94 octane. About two hours later, driving the whole time, my car started acting weird at stop and goes. I would take off like I usual and the car would go crazy and buck back and forth in low rpms I would have to push in the clutch rev it to like 4.5k and take off, so it would go. In any gear at 3k and below while cruising the car pops and sputters up till 3.5 then takes off like normal. I thought it was bad gas, but I am 3 tanks later and the problem is still there. I reset my ecu and that didn't help (the CEL is on right now, still). I am thinking the air flow sensor or the fuel filter? I don't know and I plan to take it to honda soon, I would just like some input from you guys to see if I can fix it myself. Thank you in advance.

so your CEL came on before the problem started or it came on as the problem occured?

It came on before the problem but was out in the middle of nowhere so couldn't check it...reset it, problem still happened but the CEL didn't come on for two days, until this morning.

Get the code read from the ECU. I suggest you stop resetting the light and ignoring the data that will tell you what is wrong.

That's what I plan to do. I just though(sorry I didn't say in the first place) it was my VAFC acting up again thats why I reset it...I was just tring to see if it happened to anyone else.

Well I guess it didn't really matter anyway, no one is really helping me out...I'm just gonna pull the VAFC today and see if that does anything...if not off to honda
