Default Please HELP, Strange noise comming from car

Sorry if my description isnt very good but just tonite while coasting through a parking lot, i noticed a strange noise comming from my car, sounds like something was rubbing, so i pull over and inspect and everything seems fine. The ground was completely even, no humps and about 3-5 mph i could hear the noise, but only from the passenger side. I called a friend who thinks it could be the differential so he had me do circles around a lamp post at 6-8 mph and i didnt hear the noise. I only hear it when going straight at up to 25 mph now. Its a strange clicking or grinding noise which gets faster with increasing speed and slows down when i do. Any ideas as to what this could be? I am completely stock except for my 18'' SSR GT3 wheels, but everything else is stock. I dont abuse the car, i dont clutch dump or anything like that.

Could be:
-improperly tightened hub nut.
-wheel bearing going bad.
-CV joint going bad.
-ABS brake sensor mechanism out of alignment.
-loose wheel weight.
-Brake caliper sticking (dragging).
-object in tire tread.
-road debris caught in wheel or suspension.

Have you worked on your car lately? If so did you take the wheels off because everytime i work on a car i get the brake shield pressed up against the rotors. Sry if this doesn't help...

Im gonna take it into honda this wed (my next day off) and see what reason they can come up with to make it look like my fault and void a warranty claim. I have just read several posts on differential failure and am really scared now cause i did hear a loud metalic bang earlier but no noise or anything.... just discovered the sound tonite.

Sounds like a rock in the tire and a dragging brake pad. About time to take it to the dealer so they can say "we don't know what it is."

Ok, took car to Germain Honda of Naples and the lead service tech tells me that this loud crunching noise is completely normal... and not to mention that on my service invoice they have seemed to have made up their own problem discription.... i said nothing of a brake pad, but i said a noice is commin from the back of the car, please inspect differential and such.... none of which has been done so i take it to Honda Cars of Bradention Wednesday.... i am really starting to hate being lied to Germains $tealership....

Now the finale... Viper, youre gonna love this. And if i get flamed then i totally deserve it, but not without cause for i am still a newb buuutt.... took it to Germain Honda of Naples and they told me this loud obnoxious grinding and ticking was completely normal... now ready?

A Lug nut was missing and the other 4 were pretty loose... so GERMAIN, all S2ks run with loose lug nuts that you dont even notice to tighten??? Kinda makes me wonder about what they really do with the car.
