Hey guys back again....so driving to work today and about 10 minutes into my drive...my engine ipon acceleration starts to make this loud terrible popping noise. Its bad. Immediately took it to walmart parking lot and its where in sitting now. My engine only pops on acceleration not at idle. Also at idle if it drops below 1k rpms red lamp comes on if it border lines the 1k mark it flickers rapidly. I changed my oil last week (still extremely clean from the dipstick) i check my fluids every other day everything is topped off. I am due in next week to have my valves adjusted for ticking issues. Is it the valves? Bad seals? Oil pump?

 

Hopefully some more knowledgeable people will chime in soon. Hate to see/hear the trouble you're having. You say your oil pump light comes on at Idle?
