Default Is it possible to double crank the engine?

What happens if you press the "START" button while the engine is already running? Does it double crank the engine? S2000 engine is so quiet, I'm afraid some valet guy may think it's dead and try to start the engine again while it's already running.

The starter motor will grind horribly against the flywheel. Ever see the movie Good Morning Vietnam?

The starter will engage only if you have the clutch pushed in.

1. NO valet will ever drive any of my cars - EVER!
2. We have a tachometer. If a valet is too stupid to look at the tach, do you really want such a person driving your car? (Thus, back to #1)

Errr, how would you not hear it running? It's pretty loud compared to most things people drive around.

I always wondered if it'd allow you to crank twice but never wanted to give it a try. It was just a lingering thought.
