There are small dents on my key after dropping it that gives it a rough feel when inserting into the ignition. Feels like I might be damaging the ignition if I continue to using the key over and over. Can I order a brand new key from Honda with the S2000 logo?

 

you sure can but its not going to be cheap.

 

The key blanks come uncut, they have to be cut and programmed to the car.

 

As mentioned above, yes you can. I called a local dealer about a month ago, since my S only came with 1 key. If I recall correctly I was quoted somewhere around $140.

 

I bought my own key, took it to the dealer during lunch and told the Service Mgr I'd come get it at 5 and it cost me $50.

The '06 S key is expensive.

Sadly, it's cheaper than the '04 S key.

The logo is scratched up and faded pretty badly. I thought I mind as well get a brand new key. 93.55 + dealership to cut it should be around 130.00?

 

Call them an ask if they can do it for $110.
