power windows
Please excuse my ignorance, but this is my first car with power windows. Is there a proximity switch or some similar device to finish the closing, or does it sense resistance when it seats? I ask as I had water roll in over the passenger's side window as I backed out of the driveway one morning after it rained all night. I also hear wind noise on that side of the car and wonder if the window is up tight. Car is six months old, 6,6000 miles and I have taken care of the rubber seals religiously. Only other clue is when I put the top up , it is the passenger's side that I latch first as it latches much more easily on that side. Does this have an adjustment or do I need to ask for the hardtop strikers? Any help is appreciated.

There is actually an adjustment. Some folks have the front of the window go up more than the rear and vice versa. Dealer should be able to take care of it. Sometimes, it may just be the window guides and not the sensor/stops themselves.
