Default Preparing to change input shaft bearing

I'm going to have to change the input shaft bearing soon.

Is this the correct part? Do I need to change anything else? The transmission feels fine as far as I know.

Anything else I need to know? Will be getting helms manual to ease the process.

Also, which honda oem store do you guys recommend?

That's not the input shaft.

It is the secondary reduction shaft.

which one is the input shaft?

I only see 3 choices:

Main shaft, counter shaft, and secondary shaft. I won't be doing this alone btw.

OKAY! I think i found it. looked up a diagram. The input shaft, is one end of the main shaft. So it would be this one correct?

The noise could just be your throw out bearing spinning around unloaded. Does it go away if you just touch your foot on the clutch enough to take out any slack?

I don't know. I'm pretty sure its the ISB. Also, I can here it when the car is moving. But checking the throwout would not be hard.

I'm just surprised you have been able to pinpoint the noise to one bearing inside the gearbox so accurately. How did determine the noise was from bearing 17 and not 18 in the diagram above? They are on different ends of the same shaft and rotate at the same speed.

I can't decide if this is so unbelievable that it's comical or if it's so comical as to be unbelieveable.
