Hi guys

I bought my S2k last month. I took it for service last week, I told Honda to check why when i change gears I hear a knocking noise. They checked it and told me that the pressure plate is gone and needs to be replaced. I don't understand this because the pressure plate and cluth was changed about 15000km ago last year. Any idea what is wrong? they also said that it might be a defected part, is this common?
