That's fair, I'll just add Continental DWS are not great tires for these cars, DW sure, probably won't find a better tire in the rain. It's in the same bracket as the S04's. Then there's the overlooked but extremely decent HTR Z 3 from sumitomo, aka sumowrestlers.

Also I'd avoid AP1 pads, they do not last, AP2 pads dust a fair bit but can take a bit more abuse. If you want a good compromise and don't plan on tracking the car try some Akebono ceramic pads, great for mostly street cars.

That's fair, the fact we have floating calipers means you can get away with a little runout. If the rotors weren't causing vibrations before chances are turning them is just extra work, not to mention there isn't much material you can shave off. Then again centric blanks are cheap on Rockauto and yeah I know Chinesium rotors, but honestly they're no worse than OEM rotors.

Same pads as the 06-09 Civic Si, having owned that car from 0 miles I can tell you they're not great pads.

I thought the AP1 pads were highly recommended here for street use (at least that is what I saw on most forums). This car will eventually turn into a track car, however, this set of pads will be for spirited street driving only. Well I need to order pads ASAP, so anyone have recommendations for that?

Why not use DOT4 over DOT3, has a higher dry/wet boiling point. For a low cost it might be worth the extra peace of mind.

AP2 pads are great for double duty, and spirited street driving, they just dust a bit. You will never find a pad that does both perfectly there is always some compromise. Like I said in an earlier post, Akebono makes very good ceramic pads that will take some spirited driving or the occasional auto-x and do it without dusting at all.

For Akebono pads, you need the "Akebono Street Performance" for the rear and the "Akebono Euro Ceramic" for the front, correct? The ProAct Combo didn't get very good reviews.
