I searched but saw no DIY for the primary, just the secondary sensor install tho I think i recall seeing one around somewhere. Anyways... today my primary sensor is arriving and I am anxious to put it in as I have not done any spirited driving in quite awhile now... I know the primary sensor is on the header and all that but the one thing I dont know is where the terminal is. Im sure all I do is follow the wire but I kinda like to know exactly what Im aiming for before I do things like this.

Also, I am assuming this is something I can do with a simple car jack in a matter of minutes right?

 

The connector is held in place by some kind of fastener to prevent it from thrashing about. You should be able to just see it if you look toward the top of the tranny. Now, being able to reach it to disconnect it may be the challenge.
