Default Primary O2 Sensor Replacement (P0132)

Hello everyone,

I recently got a P0132 code on the car. Which stated that its the primary O2 sensor giving a high voltage rating. No changes in intake, header, or exhaust. The battery is usually disconnected as I only drive it about once a month, if that so the ECU should always be wiped. Any ideas? Is this just a matter or replacing the primary O2 sensor?

If so, I have a set of low mileage O2 sensors off an MY05 but my car is a MY02. I know the OEM part numbers are different but does anyone know if they are compatible? Please chime in if anyone has any experience in this matter.

Thanks!

Regards,
Jeff

BTW - the engine is mated to a ricks six plus header, test pipe, an aftermarket exhaust. I read O2 sensors fail due to excessive moisture, maybe this happened cause I rinsed out the exhaust piping before install?

Curious as to what people's advice would be at this point for DX or just take the easy path by swapping out the primary.

Change them both with Denso for 2002, not 2005.

So when one goes bad, in this case the primary, I should change both (primary and the one on the cat)? Please shed some insight. Thanks!

You only need the primary, and you need one from an 00-03
